Canada’s first National Organ & Tissue Donor Registration Drive!

For almost a decade Live On has been increasing awareness and registrations for organ and tissue donation in Canada. Working with provincial agencies, local media, corporate and community partners, we have successfully increased public awareness of the importance of registering as an organ and tissue donor.

While we have made a difference, 90% of Canadians say they support organ donation, yet only 20% have registered their decision. Approximately 4500 Canadians are on the waiting list and sadly, hundreds die every year waiting.

This year, we have partnered with the Canadian Transplant Association to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation, with the social media campaign Live On Regithon #PledgeToSaveLives. We will be encouraging Canadians to show thier support for Organ Donation by register as an organ & tissue donor. It’s a PledgeToSaveLives!
